2000c Gagnon "Quenoil" model $14,800

This beautiful bass was made by Canadian bassist and luthier Jacques Gagnon in Angeles City, Philippines. The entire instrument is made from Calantas, a variety of mahogany, and has a acquired a lovely patina. The sloping french shoulders make it a joy to play in the higher registers, while the bottom end doesn't disappoint. The bass is fitted with beautifully smooth and elegant machines, on a unique scroll grafted to a highly flamed maple neck.
