Maker Martin Stanley's newest instrument is a 7/8 flatback. Top notch workmanship, made with good Sitka Spruce and a Mahogany body, Responsive Bracing and Lamario bass bar.

This bass has a powerful and smooth dark voice straight off the bat.

The hand rubbed varnish shows off the colour of the wood and the delightful carved rose motif in the upper back, which depicts the leaves snd fruit of the mahogany tree.

Despite the generous body proportions, it is easy to get around, with modern overstand, adjustable D neck and a friendly 41" string length.
