Lovely small, lightweight flatback double bass made in East Germany or Czechoslovakia early last century. 

This delightful instrument is very easy to play with its short string length and ergonomic shape. 
We fully restored this instrument in 2019, upgrading it with Responsive Bracing and Lamarre style  bass bar inside as well as modern neck set and adjustable bridge. it has a clear, focussed tone and is super easy to play.  Wonderful instrument for the smaller statured player.
