"Castelvecchio" was made as a close copy of Stefano Sciascia's wonderful cornerless bass, attributed to GB Rogeri.

This bass has a beautiful loud and clear voice, and despite its 42" mensure is so easy to play thanks to its narrow ribs and sloped shoulders.
It features an ornate acanthus carving on the back of the scroll, a bolt-on removable neck, and an experimental adjustable soundpost.

The body is made from tasmanian eucalyptus, and the top is very tight-grained Western Red Cedar, finished in a rich red varnish.

This bass has been a favourite amongst many pro musicians visiting sydney for concerts and recordings

This bass is for sale.
