Juzek 5 String 1930

This beautiful carved double bass is labelled John Juzek Master Art 1930.

5 strings tuned to BEADG.  Can be configured as a four-string.
String length  is a comfortable 41"

Neck recently reset with generous overstand in the Bresque Workshop

Excellent condition and setup.

This bass was recently used to achieve AMusA, entry to Sydney Conservatorium, and several scholarships.
According to the owner, the bass was apparently played in the Czech Symphony Orchestra before being brought to Australia.
